Farm to Garden Organics, a division of Westbow Group is a Victoria based, organic materials recycler. We take local garden and forestry residuals and process them into a premium, organic, compost for landscapers, home gardeners, and local businesses. About The Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering organic compost to our customers on-time and in a professional way. A usual day will include anything from loading and driving deliveries, loading customer vehicles, maintaining the delivery trucks and yard equipment, and assisting customers with purchases on the yard.

Hourly Pay Rate: $25.00

Schedule - Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering product to different customers in the city and assuring product is delivered as invoiced
• Loading our delivery trucks, and customer vehicles on our yard using a backhoe or skid steer
• Basic maintenance and upkeep of delivery trucks and yard equipment
• Directing customer vehicles and commercial traffic
• Maintaining the yard
• Receiving commercial incoming traffic and pre-screening loads before dumping
• Performing small project-based work as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Experience with light machinery and delivery trucks is an asset
• Mechanical and machine operating abilities are an asset
• Willingness and ability to work outside for extended periods year-round
