Overview

The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for maintaining optimal communication between internal customers to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and quotations. He/She is also responsible for coordinating all activities surrounding order entry management and entering orders into the computer system.

He/She is responsible for implementing all customer service policies, procedures and work instructions to optimize departmental efficiency and productivity.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly assess and analyze customer needs regarding products, deadlines, and shipping;
  • Key in orders and quotations accurately into the computer system;
  • Coordinate with the logistics department to obtain the best freight rates, and with other internal functions to correctly inform customers of the status of their order or quote;
  • Support the customer experience and the sales teams to provide the best possible overall service.

Qualifications And Skills

  • College Diploma
  • 1-3 years of Experience in customer service/ logistics/ sales
  • Bilingual English/French essential. Spanish will be considered an asset
  • Ease of learning
  • Good organizational skills, good judgment and ability to manage priorities
