Overview
The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for maintaining optimal communication between internal customers to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and quotations. He/She is also responsible for coordinating all activities surrounding order entry management and entering orders into the computer system.
He/She is responsible for implementing all customer service policies, procedures and work instructions to optimize departmental efficiency and productivity.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Thoroughly assess and analyze customer needs regarding products, deadlines, and shipping;
- Key in orders and quotations accurately into the computer system;
- Coordinate with the logistics department to obtain the best freight rates, and with other internal functions to correctly inform customers of the status of their order or quote;
- Support the customer experience and the sales teams to provide the best possible overall service.
Qualifications And Skills
- College Diploma
- 1-3 years of Experience in customer service/ logistics/ sales
- Bilingual English/French essential. Spanish will be considered an asset
- Ease of learning
- Good organizational skills, good judgment and ability to manage priorities
