We are seeking a professional and safety-focused Asset Protection Associate to help create a secure environment for customers, associates, and vendors. This role is critical in supporting store safety, reducing shrink, and protecting company assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and protect Walmart property, merchandise, and individuals within the store
• Deter theft, fraud, and shrink through surveillance, investigation, and store patrols
• Conduct daily checks of the store to ensure doors, fixtures, and equipment are secure
• Respond to and manage security incidents, including external arrests when necessary
• Support evacuation procedures during emergencies
• Conduct investigations related to internal theft, dishonesty, or organized retail crime
• Collaborate with leadership and Global Ethics on assigned cases and security matters
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of incidents

Qualifications

• Experience in security, asset protection, or loss prevention is an asset
• License - Security Guard License
• Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to handle stressful or emergency situations calmly and professionally
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

The rate of pay for this position starts from $19.35. The rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
