Role Description

This is not an entry-level or high-volume transactional sales position.

We are looking for a well-connected and experienced business-development professional who understands how to develop relationships with established businesses, identify larger opportunities and sell strategic digital solutions based on genuine business needs.

The successful candidate will serve as a senior local representative of SlyFox in the London business community while having the flexibility to pursue opportunities throughout Southwestern Ontario and beyond.

This is an entrepreneurial, performance-based opportunity offering substantial earning potential through an uncapped commission and profit-sharing structure. It is best suited to an established sales professional who values autonomy, already has a strong professional network and is confident in their ability to generate and close business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business for SlyFox through existing relationships, professional networking, referrals, strategic partnerships and proactive outreach
  • Build relationships with established businesses and decision-makers throughout London and Southwestern Ontario
  • Identify opportunities for website development, digital marketing, SEO, paid advertising, CRM implementation, branding and related services
  • Serve as a knowledgeable and professional ambassador for the SlyFox brand within the London business community
  • Develop a strong understanding of prospective clients’ goals, challenges and growth opportunities
  • Conduct discovery conversations and recommend appropriate digital solutions
  • Collaborate with SlyFox’s leadership and internal team on strategy, pricing, proposals and project scope
  • Manage the sales process independently or collaboratively, depending on the size and complexity of the opportunity
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities, conversations and sales activity
  • Support the continued growth and elevation of the SlyFox brand within Southwestern Ontario

The Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced and credible business-development professional who knows how to open doors, develop trust and have meaningful conversations with business owners and senior decision-makers.

You understand that larger contracts are rarely won through aggressive selling. They are earned by understanding the client’s business, identifying the right opportunity and presenting a solution that creates measurable value.

You should bring:

  • A minimum of five years of successful business-development or consultative sales experience
  • Ten or more years of relevant experience is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience selling website development, digital marketing, advertising, branding, CRM or related professional services
  • An established professional network in London or Southwestern Ontario
  • Existing relationships with business owners, executives and organizational decision-makers
  • A proven ability to generate your own opportunities and develop new client relationships
  • Experience pursuing and closing larger, higher-value contracts
  • Strong knowledge of website strategy and modern digital-marketing services
  • Excellent communication, presentation, networking and relationship-building skills
  • The confidence to represent an established agency at professional meetings and business events
  • Strong personal accountability, organization and follow-through
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an internal delivery team
  • High professional standards and a consultative, relationship-driven approach to sales

Compensation and Earning Potential

This position offers an uncapped, performance-based compensation structure designed to reward both immediate sales performance and the long-term value of the business generated.

Compensation will include:

  • Competitive commission based on the profitability of successfully secured client contracts
  • Ongoing participation in qualifying recurring-service revenue
  • Increased commission rates for reaching defined performance levels
  • Additional incentives for larger and strategically valuable accounts

The structure is intended to provide meaningful earning potential for an accomplished professional capable of developing and closing higher-value opportunities. Complete compensation details will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process.
