Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Supervisor - Shipping Receiving Nights (12.30am - 9.30am ) ( Monday – Friday )

Location: Strathroy – London - Woodstock, ON area

Salary: 65K -75K base; bonus; benefits

Night Shift (Monday 12.30am start)

Monday 12:30am-9:00am, Tuesday to Friday 1:30am-9:30am

Full time permanent; 5 days on site

Our client is one of the largest organisations in Canada. They have a job open for Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Supervisor - Shipping Receiving Nights. This is a night shift role starting Sunday – Monday night at 12.30am and finishing Friday morning at 9am. This is an existing role and is responsible for supervising lead hands and front-line operation in pick pack, warehousing, distribution, transportation, loading unloading in a senior leadership/ management role. The job is based in London, ON. All candidates must be able to drive / get to work by their own transport as public transportation will be limited for a night shift start. This is a night shift operation and will require standing and walking for long periods of time due to the nature of business. Clear Criminal check is a MUST

• Manage and supervise daily operations

• Lead and support a team of unionized employees of 20-30 associates

• Maintain a positive work environment and build teamwork

• Monitor and manage employee performance against established standards

• Enhance operations through performance reviews, coaching, counseling, and recognition

• Prepare and maintain reports, documentation, and related records

Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Supervisor - Shipping Receiving Nights is responsible for managing coaching mentoring and performance management of a team of 20-25 associates -material handlers, shippers receivers, pick pack and similar. You will define process flow, manage capacity, schedule and run capacity plans to ensure on-time delivery, and a positive team environment to ensure outbound freight is staged correctly for driver pick up.

Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Supervisor - Shipping Receiving Nights will have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience (MUST have) in team leadership / supervisory / management roles ideally in retail, operations, distribution, warehousing, logistics, cross dock, pick pack, shipping receiving, yard management and similar. Ability to stand, walk and work for long hours is required. This job will require you to work night shift 12.30am start on Sunday nights and will finish 9.30am on Fridays. This will enable off time all day Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays till you start work at 12.30am Monday.
