Elite Fire Protection Ltd is looking for an experienced Sr. Fire Protection Technician to join our growing team. As a field representative, you will inspect, test, maintain, repair, and install fire and life safety equipment for customers throughout the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain, repair, and install fire protection and life safety systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards

• Complete accurate inspection reports, service documentation, and deficiency notes in a timely manner

• Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, site contacts, and internal team members

• Diagnose system issues, recommend corrective action, and complete repairs when required

• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle, tools, equipment, and job site

• Follow company safety procedures and ensure work is completed to Elite’s quality standards

• ASTTBC Fire Protection Technician certification with a valid stamp. 4 stamps or higher are considered an asset.

• Experience inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, or installing fire alarm, emergency lighting, sprinkler, suppression, extinguisher, or backflow systems

• Valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s licence with a clean driving record

• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems

• Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to complete accurate documentation

• Reliable, safety-minded, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, work overhead, and travel between customer sites throughout the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver areas
