Avanti Wealth is a locally owned leading Wealth Management provider. Avanti Wealth is looking for a self-motivated Wealth Coordinator with superior communication skills who is looking to be an integral part of our growing team.
Wealth Coordinator
As a Wealth Coordinator, you will provide support to Avanti Wealth Advisors and will perform a variety of administrative duties related to wealth management services.
In summary, the Wealth Coordinator will
· Provide support to the Wealth Consultants by setting and preparing for member appointments, handling member requests, following up on credit union referrals, providing information about Avanti Wealth to members and non-members.
· Organize and prioritize advisor’s calendars.
· Improve overall customer service standards that will lead to attracting and retaining new/existing members.
· Create and maintain member files.
· Process product applications, bill payments and prepare a variety of activity reports.
· Process deposits and withdrawals from member investment accounts. Follow up on NSF payments for life contracts and preauthorized contributions to investment accounts.
· Process updates to accounts such as change of address, beneficiary and marital status.
· Process all wealth management mail and handle all courier and fax support.
· Any other duties as assigned.
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
· Completed post-secondary education in Office Administration or a related field is preferred.
· Ability to work with a high level of accuracy while multi-tasking to deliver excellent member service.
· Must be self-motivated and display excellent communication skills.
· The ability to work efficiently and independently while complying with detailed procedures is critical.
· Must possess strong organization, communication skills and professionalism.
· Excellent computer proficiency operating Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
· A strong knowledge of computers notably related software and programs.
Additional skills are considered assets too
· Completion of the IFIC Course (Investment Funds Institute of Canada), Life Licensing Course or the CSC (Canadian Securities Course) is considered an asset.
