What will you do?

We are seeking a highly experienced Synthesia AI Video Specialist for a 3-month contract to support the Siemens Academy team in Oakville.

This role focuses on converting existing content into high-quality, AI-generated videos using Synthesia and training internal staff to independently manage and scale video creation going forward. This role requires demonstrated experience in delivering training content using Synthesia (not general video-editing tools).

This is a short-term, project-based engagement.

Content Conversion & Development

  • Transform existing materials (PowerPoint presentations, documents, and other content formats) into engaging Synthesia videos
  • Apply best practices for corporate training and communication content
  • Ensure videos are clear, structured, and aligned with Siemens standards and tone

Tool Setup & Optimization

  • Configure Synthesia projects, templates, and workflows for efficient content production
    • Avatars and voice selection
    • Scene structure and pacing
    • Branding consistency

Training & Knowledge Transfer

  • Provide hands-on training to internal team members (1:1 and/or small group sessions)
    • Create and edit videos in Synthesia
    • Update and maintain existing video content
    • Apply efficient workflows for ongoing production
  • Develop simple reference materials or guidance (as needed)

Advisory Support

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Synthesia capabilities and limitations
  • Recommend scalable approaches for long-term use within Siemens

What will you need to succeed?

  • Proven, hands-on experience using Synthesia to create professional video content
  • Strong ability to convert existing content into structured video formats
  • Experience working with corporate training, onboarding, or internal communications content
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

Preferred

  • Background in instructional design or learning & development
  • Experience creating templates or scalable video frameworks
  • Familiarity with LMS / eLearning formats (e.g., SCORM)
  • Experience working with global organizations or enterprise environments
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset

[Hourly is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 60.00 CAD - $ 80.00 CAD.]
