Exploration Geologist – Dryden, Ontario
Neocene Solutions Inc. is looking for a Core Logging Geologist to join our team on an active gold exploration project near Dryden, Ontario.
This position is well suited for a geologist with some previous exploration experience who is looking to build their career in mineral exploration and gain hands-on exposure to a drill program.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years of mineral exploration and/or core logging experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and currently reside in Canada
Key Responsibilities
- Log diamond drill core, including lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structural features
- Mark and organize sample intervals
- Assist with core photography and core management
- Enter and maintain geological data accurately
- Support QA/QC procedures and sampling activities
- Work closely with project geologists to ensure consistent and high-quality data collection
- Follow all site health and safety procedures
