Oracle Business Analyst

This position will focus on analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business processes across multiple business units, ensuring alignment between operational requirements and Oracle ERP capabilities. Working closely with finance, operations, IT, and implementation partners, the successful candidate will drive process improvement, business readiness, and user adoption through detailed process mapping, gap analysis, stakeholder engagement, and training documentation. Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering activities by validating and consolidating business needs, identifying process inefficiencies, control gaps, manual workarounds, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Develop detailed end-to-end current-state and future-state process maps (L3/L4 level) across Finance and Supply Chain functions, including Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows.
• Tailor Oracle ERP business processes to meet the unique operational and financial requirements of multiple business units, including contract-based and spot-market billing models.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to validate requirements, resolve process challenges, and drive alignment on future-state solutions.
• Create comprehensive documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, process repositories, and business readiness resources to support Oracle adoption.
• Produce gap analyses, pain point assessments, and recommendations focused on strengthening controls, improving efficiency, reducing manual effort, and maximizing Oracle ERP capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting Oracle ERP implementations, with strong knowledge of both Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
• Demonstrated expertise in business process mapping, workflow analysis, and documentation, including development of detailed L3/L4 process maps.
• Strong understanding of finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, month-end close, financial reporting, billing, and revenue allocation.
• Experience working within procurement, inventory management, sales order processing, fulfillment, costing, and inventory valuation environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and bridge the gap between business users, technical teams, and implementation partners.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with experience working in complex, multi-entity organizations and managing large volumes of process documentation and business requirements.

Pay: $70-90 per/hour incorporated based on a 40 hour work week

On-site 4 days per week in North Vancouver, BC - candidates not in commuting distance will not be considered at this time
