Corporate Sales Manager

About the Role

  • Peter and Paul’s Hospitality Group is seeking a driven, organized, and experienced Corporate Sales Manager to generate and grow corporate business across our venues, restaurants, catering, gifting, and services.
  • This role requires a proactive sales approach, a passion for relationship building, and a strong understanding of the events and hospitality industry.
  • You’ll serve as the key contact for corporate clients and play a vital role in revenue growth and brand expansion across the GTA.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Generation & Client Management

  • Proactively generate new corporate sales across all Peter and Paul’s brands and services.
  • Respond promptly to corporate inquiries, RFPs, and event requests via phone or email.
  • Schedule and conduct regular outside sales calls and site inspections.
  • Maintain a cold call schedule to build and nurture new corporate accounts.
  • Issue proposals, contracts, and follow up to secure business.
  • Develop close working relationships with internal teams to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed client profiles and records to track potential and actual business.

Client Engagement & Networking

  • Attend industry events, tradeshows, networking functions, and appointments.
  • Represent the brand at client events and provide on-site support alongside logistics and venue teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to meet client expectations and deliver on contractual obligations.

Operational & Strategic Involvement

  • Participate in revenue management efforts to optimize bookings.
  • Contribute to the creation of unique guest experiences that enhance revenue opportunities.
  • Assist in development of sales and marketing plans, budgets, and monthly reports.
  • Provide accurate, timely communication to all departments on group requirements and expectations.
  • Ensure client payments and deposits are received on schedule.
  • Report directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or Hospitality.
  • 2–3 years of experience as a Corporate Catering or Event Sales Manager in a hotel, event venue, or related field.
  • Existing industry contacts and client base is a strong asset.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and stress-management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word), event management software, and floor plan tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle to attend meetings and events.
  • Must be available to attend off-site events and client functions as needed.
  • This position is in office daily.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary (Manager Level).
  • Commission on Sales.
  • Health Benefits Package.
