The Role
As a Junior UX Researcher, you will work within our UX Research team, and alongside our Experimentation team to process and analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to uncover insights for our clients. You will execute qualitative and quantitative research studies to explore the behavioural psychology and usability of digital and omnichannel experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run qualitative and quantitative studies for our clients. This can include 1:1 interviews, diary studies, usability tests, secondary research, competitor analysis, surveys, journey mapping, personas and other methodologies using Conversion's proprietary methodologies.
- Process, analyze, and summarize data sets from research.
- Create materials for key stakeholders summarizing key findings.
- Confidently present research and findings.
- Collaborate with Conversion’s Experimentation Consultants and Designers to identify opportunities to leverage user research insights.
Requirements
- 3+ years of post-secondary education
- 6 months+ of hands-on experience in applying qualitative and quantitative research methods such as in-depth interviews, usability testing, diary studies, surveys, card sorting etc.
- Top-notch written and oral communication skills. You’ll not only need to communicate complex subjects in a way that’s easy to understand with the rest of the team but will also need to work closely with clients. You will deliver compelling presentations to small and large groups of clients and prospects.
- Proven ability to understand business contexts, scope and design research methodologies, execute on research, analyze findings, and present findings and recommendations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative evidence.
- Exceptional project and organization management skills to coordinate research efforts across multiple projects.
- Passion, energy and enthusiasm to drive results with a team-oriented approach; must be self-motivated, proactive, and flexible.
- Experience with research tools such as usertesting.com, dscout, qualtrics etc.
- Experience with online collaboration tools like Asana, Google Docs, Google Analytics, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The typical hiring range for this role is $68,000 - $75,000 annually. This range reflects our commitment to our compensation philosophy, internal equity, and comes with a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package. Base pay will be determined based on role-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
