About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to design, deploy, and manage our hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our systems while supporting business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage server infrastructure (on-premises and cloud-based), focusing on Azure services: virtual machines, networking, storage, identity (Azure AD), and backups.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, security, and reliability of servers and cloud services.
- Manage user access, permissions, and identity across Active Directory, Azure AD, and hybrid setups.
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, patching, and update processes.
- Provide support for day-to-day incidents and requests, including VM provisioning, server configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Work within security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS Controls, ISO 27001) and leverage tools such as GLPI, Zabbix, Wazuh, and NetFlow.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and support teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with applications and services.
- Document architecture, configurations, procedures, and runbooks.
- Propose improvements for performance, cost-efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, identity, storage, backups, security), ideally including hybrid on-premises + cloud setups.
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration, virtualization, and identity management.
- Good understanding of networking concepts: firewalling, VPN, subnets, security groups, and cloud networking.
- Familiarity with backup/disaster recovery, monitoring, logging, and compliance/security best practices.
- Certifications such as Azure Administrator or Azure Security are desirable but practical experience is most important.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong documentation practices.
- (Optional) Exposure to automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code for scalable infrastructure management.
