ABOUT REZZET
Rezzet is a natural dog food brand launching in Calgary in August 2026. We make real food for dogs — and we mean real food. 100% natural ingredients, no freezer required, 12-month shelf life. That's not common. In fact, it doesn't exist yet in the Canadian market. Almost every natural dog food here is frozen or refrigerated. We're changing that.
Our product is manufactured in Germany, distributed in Canada, and delivered directly to our customers' doors. We're building something genuinely new in the Canadian pet food market, and we need someone on the ground in Calgary to help us tell that story.
We're a small, founder-led team. You won't be executing someone else's vision — you'll be helping build it.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS
This is a hands-on content creation role. You'll be responsible for planning, filming, editing, and posting content for our Instagram and TikTok accounts. You'll work closely with our co-founder Gustavo, who is based in Calgary, and with our founding team in Brazil and Europe.
This is not a desk job. You'll be out in the city — parks, trails, cafés, streets — filming real moments with a real dog.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
— Plan and produce weekly content across Instagram Reels, Stories, and carousels
— Film and edit short-form video content (15s to 90s) with minimal equipment
— Manage our Instagram and TikTok accounts day-to-day: posting, responding to comments, monitoring performance
— Work with our founding team to develop content ideas and execute them quickly
— Track basic metrics weekly: reach, saves, shares, follower growth, DM leads captured
— Coordinate with our external designer for static and carousel assets
— Be available to film on location in Calgary, including weekends when needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must have
— Based in Calgary. This is non-negotiable. The content is about this city.
— Strong short-form video skills: you know how to film and edit a Reel that stops the scroll
— Proficiency with CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar mobile editing tools
— Good eye for aesthetics: light, framing, movement
— Comfortable working independently and figuring things out without a manual
— Good written English for captions and community management
— Genuine interest in dogs and pet lifestyle content
Nice to have
— Experience growing an account from zero
— Photography skills for static content
— Experience with drone footage or GoPro-style content
— Familiarity with Shopify or basic e-commerce
What we're NOT looking for
— Someone who needs a detailed brief for every post
— Someone who only does strategy and doesn't get their hands dirty
— Someone who isn't comfortable being out in the city filming
THE ROLE IN PRACTICE
A typical week looks like this: you'll have 2 to 3 filming sessions around Calgary — a park, a trail, a café, a street activation. You'll edit and post 3 to 4 pieces of content. You'll manage comments and DMs. You'll join a short weekly call with our founding team to align on the following week.
In September 2026, our founder Rodrigo will be in Calgary with a production team for approximately ten days. During that period, you'll work alongside professional producers filming brand content. Your role in that window is to accompany the team and capture behind-the-scenes content — not to edit the main production. It will be one of the most exciting weeks of the brand's early life and you'll be part of it.
COMPENSATION
This role starts part-time and grows with the operation. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. We're open to discussing a structure that includes performance incentives tied to account growth and lead generation. $20 to $25 CAD per hour, depending on experience.
