LRO is working with a prestigious local law firm as their Employment Law practice grows. This position offers a tenured lawyer with five plus years of relevant experience the opportunity to mentor more junior professionals, create deeper client relationships by providing them with full service while working autonomously. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide advice and guidance to clients on all employment law matters including hiring, terminations and workplace policies
- Draft and review employment agreements
- Conduct legal research and provide opinion and counsel
- Assist organizations with compliance and risk management strategies
- Monitor the dynamic legislative developments and advise clients on changes affecting workplace practices
- Provide mentorship and assistance to junior professionals, where needed
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A Degree in Law from an accredited institution
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- A Minimum of five years of relevant experience in Employment Law
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to distinguish the firm with client-centric solutions
About the Job
This role is a full time, permanent opportunity with compensation of between $140,000 to $165,000 with an additional variable.
