This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about meaningful, community-focused design and eager to develop their skills in a collaborative environment. As part of our team, you will contribute to projects that provide essential spaces for public service while gaining hands-on experience across all stages of design and delivery.

- Contribute to the preparation of architectural drawings and presentation materials
- Assist with design development and schematic design tasks
- Research codes, standards, materials, and products
- Support permit, tender, and construction document preparation
- Attend site visits and assist with construction administration
- Maintain project files and help coordinate documentation
- Create or update Revit models and drawing sets
- Work collaboratively with the project team on day-to-day tasks
While we do not require all the qualifications, the best candidate to represent JDa would have:
- Eligible to be registered with the AIBC
- M. Arch in Architecture and /or an institution recognized by the AIBC / CACB
- Previous experience working in an office setting for a minimum of one year
- Ability to attain RCMP ERS (Enhanced Reliability Status) security clearance (5-Year Background Check
| Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Revit experience (Proficient in Revit – nice to have)
- Strong Adobe skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Physical model making
- Computer rendering and digital visualization skills
- Knowledge of the BC Building Code
- Good work ethic and enthusiasm for working as a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Well organized with good interpersonal skills
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Valid driver’s license
- Looking to build their career
Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000
