Band 3, 22 hours

Stonehaven Dialysis Unit, Kincardine Community Hospital.

Temporary Post for 12 months to cover Maternity Leave.

The Renal Dialysis team at Stonehaven Dialysis Unit are looking to recruit an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to the team.

Stonehaven Dialysis Unit accommodates people from the Stonehaven and surrounding areas, who require haemodialysis on an outpatient basis. The unit is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7am to 7.15pm.

The successful candidate will be required to assist with haemodialysis treatment and care for patients while they are receiving their treatment. They must have previous current or very recent acute care experience in a hospital setting at band 3 level, have excellent communication and organisational skills and be motivated to learn.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a minimum of 3 weeks training at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary before transferring to Stonehaven Dialysis Unit.

The post holder may occasionally be rostered to work at the Dialysis Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary although, shifts will predominantly be at Stonehaven Dialysis Unit and worked on a 12-hour shift basis.
