Waycon Manufacturing is looking for a skilled Fabricator to join our shop floor team. We build complex, custom equipment for demanding industries — and the quality of our work starts with the people who build it. Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel and custom components to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Interpret complex blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings accurately.

• Perform fit-up, assembly, and welding of heavy structural and mechanical components.

• Maintain quality standards and inspect finished work against tolerances.

• Mentor junior fabricators and contribute to a strong shop floor culture.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines.

What We're Looking For

Experienced Candidate

• Certified Red Seal Fabricator.

• 5+ years of fabrication experience in a heavy industrial or custom manufacturing environment.

• Strong proficiency reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.

• Experience with structural steel, heavy plate fabrication, and precision fit-up.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead by example.

Emerging Candidate

• Apprentice or journeyman-level fabricator with strong foundational skills and drive to advance.

• Solid blueprint reading ability and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to grow in a high-skill environment.
