Marketing and Event Specialist

(Canada Summer Jobs Position)

We are looking for a motivated youth who is passionate about community engagement, marketing, and nonprofit work to join our team this summer!

• Wage: Approximately $21/hour

• Hours: 35 hours per week

• Duration: 8 weeks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Interest in marketing, events, and community outreach

• Organized and detail-oriented

• Experience with social media, Canva, or content creation is an asset

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Assisting with community events and fundraising activities

• Supporting social media and promotional campaigns

• Helping create marketing materials and digital content

• Engaging with community members and supporters

• General administrative and event support

Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for the Canada Summer Jobs program.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act

• Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally entitled to work in Canada
