Temporary Junior High Teacher

2026-2067 School Year

Glenmary School, located in Peace River, Alberta requires a Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Temporary, Junior High Teacher starting August 27, 2026 up to, and including January 30, 2027.

Course assignment includes Math and Science courses in Junior high (Grades 7-9) and potentially other assigned courses appropriate to the candidate's skill set within the school environment.

The successful candidate ideally will have a knowledge and understanding of inclusive education, First Nation Metis and Inuit students, English as a second language, programming, and skills to support students who require individualized programs, enrichment, modifications, and/or accommodations to their learning.

The successful candidate must be willing to live in a rural community environment and be a team player, willing to collaborate, communicate and work together with fellow colleagues. Catholic and non-Catholic applicants are welcome to apply.
