Mission statement

Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations and Compliance, the Operations Analyst supports advisors by coordinating operational and administrative requests with various departments. Through their attention to detail and meticulous approach, they contribute to operational efficiency, productivity optimization, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Receive requests from advisors, maintain records, and initiate various related operational processes while ensuring compliance with our service level agreement
  • Ensure the consistency of our CRM data
  • Support operations staff, the portfolio manager, and advisors in handling operational requests
  • Perform daily reconciliation of transactions carried out by the portfolio manager
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement to enhance the efficiency and quality of operational processes
  • Manage various projects related to compliance and operations
  • Participate in regular internal audits of advisors' activities, including KYC verification
  • Monitor regulatory developments and, if necessary, recommend the necessary adjustments to the compliance program
  • Work closely with advisors to ensure that regulatory requirements are understood and complied with

Profile required

  • High school diploma in finance or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • CCVM or PQAP: a valuable asset
  • Proficiency in the Office suite
  • Proficiency in written and spoken French (advanced, CLB 7)
  • Intermediate English (CLB 5) is a plus
  • Familiarity with various technologies
  • Operational rigor
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Independence, reliability, and the ability to manage priorities
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work well with others, and professionalism
