Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - E Avionics

Position Summary
This is a full-time salaried or day rate position. Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance Organization, the AME - Avionics “E” is responsible for the certification of an aircraft after maintenance, inspection, repair or modification. This is a position requiring a high degree of responsibility and skill, which includes:
Responsibilities
· Inspection, troubleshooting, and repair avionics and electrical systems
· Ensure compliance with regulatory and company maintenance procedures
· Support pilots and engineers with avionics-related issues
· Supervising, performing and documenting routine avionics related maintenance.
· Other Duties as required by the Shop Supervisors and/or the Director of Maintenance Organization
Qualifications
· Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME-E license
· Experience with BK117, Bell 212, and AS350 series aircraft is an asset
· Strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations
· Formal Aviation Training from a TCCA approved training organization (ATO) preferred
· Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent) with acceptable abstract
Compensation
· Compensation amounts based on experience and qualifications.
