Recruitment and Retention Consultant

Recruitment and Retention Consultants will
-Identify, develop, implement and evaluate risks of recruitment and retention strategies, practices, and tactics in local, national and international environments
-Establish and maintain effective external relationships that advance the objectives of the Agency
-Promote adoption of nationally recognized best practices in the area of recruitment and retention and use change management and quality improvement principles to influence and support practices
-Provide specialized and complex information on professional licensure, including required national examinations and assessment pathways, to physicians and health professionals
-Build trusted relationships with students, residents, physicians and health professionals to influence their decision on where to work
-Sourcing and attracting passive candidates and persuading them to work in Saskatchewan
-Utilize and troubleshoot software that hosts job vacancies and candidate profiles needed to promote recruitment, training and settlement process
-Lead and maintain relationships with health system employers to ensure quality candidates are referred to meet the operational needs of our health system
-Actively seek candidates to advance progression in the recruitment process including the promotion of incentives, resources for licensing and career opportunities
-Lead initiatives to increase engagement with candidates to maximize visibility such as LinkedIn, events, virtual options, in-person
Extensive local, national and international travel is required
Competencies
-3-5 years experience working with diverse and external clients, ideally in human resource recruitment
-Knowledge of physician and health professional licensure or immigration
-Proficiency Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
