Crossing Analyst (Damage Prevention / ROW Compliance)
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Crossing Analyst to join a high-performing Damage Prevention team supporting critical pipeline infrastructure. This role offers a unique blend of land administration, compliance, and field coordination, working alongside technical and field subject matter experts to ensure safe, compliant third-party activity near company assets.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct detailed research and analysis of land agreements, crossing records, and encroachment documentation to understand historical obligations and risks
- Support site assessments and encroachment evaluations alongside field and technical teams
- Assist in developing and implementing mitigation and remediation strategies
- Draft and coordinate third-party crossing and consent agreements, including legal review where required
- Work closely with field teams and external stakeholders to facilitate agreement execution and file closure
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in Land Administration, PLM, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in land, ROW, or third-party crossing/encroachment management
- Strong understanding of land agreements and surface rights
- Working knowledge of pipeline infrastructure and facility crossings (utilities, roads, powerlines)
- Familiarity with Canadian energy regulators (CER, AER, BC OGC)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and land/data management systems such as SharePoint, LandWorks, TPC tools, and Power BI.
