General Manager – ReCar & Wonder Auto & Tire (Part of Shift Auto Group)

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead ReCar & Wonder Auto & Tire. This is a unique opportunity to oversee two complementary automotive brands that work together to deliver an unmatched customer experience. By leveraging the strengths of both operations, you'll create a seamless ownership journey—from vehicle selection and financing to service, maintenance, and long-term customer care.

The synergy between ReCar's innovative used vehicle retail model and Wonder Auto's service expertise allows us to provide greater convenience, more value, and stronger support for our customers throughout their ownership experience. As General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring both operations work together seamlessly while driving growth, profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

This role oversees all aspects of the business, including vehicle sales, finance, service operations, inventory management, customer experience, team development, and overall branch performance. Working closely with department leaders, you will be accountable for achieving sales and profitability targets, growing service revenue, optimizing operational efficiency, and building a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

• Proven automotive leadership experience in a General Manager, General Sales Manager, Fixed Operations Manager, or similar leadership role

• A track record of driving sales growth, profitability, and operational performance

• Strong understanding of dealership sales, finance, service, and overall business operations

• The ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams

• A passion for customer experience and operational excellence

• Strong business acumen and a data-driven approach to decision-making

• A growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
