We are seeking a motivated and people-focused HR Coordinator – New Grad Opportunity to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in Human Resources while gaining hands-on exposure to a variety of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee support, newcomer settlement assistance and HR administration.

The successful candidate will work closely with leaders and employees across the organization to support day-to-day HR operations and help create a positive and engaging employee experience. Based out of Sussex, NB, this is an exciting opportunity to develop foundational HR skills in a collaborative, fast-paced and supportive environment where you can grow your career and make a meaningful impact.

  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation to help create a welcoming experience for new employees
  • Provide administrative support for HR programs, initiatives and employee records
  • Coordinate and support newcomer settlement activities, including relocation assistance and community integration support
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and programs in a professional and helpful manner
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee information and documentation
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, team events and HR activities
  • Support workforce planning, reporting and other HR projects as required
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team members to support staffing and operational needs
  • Ensure HR processes are completed in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • Recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow within Human Resources
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong customer service mindset with a collaborative and team-oriented approach
  • Previous co-op, internship or customer service experience is considered an asset
