Grade 8 - 9 Blended Teacher

TLA Online is seeking one B.C. certified teacher to teach in a grade 8-9 Blended learning environment in Vernon, B.C..

The position may range from .6 to 1.0 depending on student interest.

The students are part of a Christian Reformed church co-operative, so applicants for this particular position must share their Christian Reformed faith, as religious instruction will a component of learning in addition to the B.C. curriculum.

Potential Candidates Must

• Be a practicing member of the Christian Reformed faith community (for this position only)
• Be a BC certified Teacher
• Be local to the city of Vernon, or willing to commute to the learning site multiple times per week.
• Experience working or learning in an project based or online environment is an asset but not a requirement.

Duties Include

Working with students and parents online and face to face to ensure they meet the BC learning standards.
