Assistant Superintendent (3-Month Term)

This is a unique role, best suited for someone between jobs. You will join a great Commercial & Institutional General Contractor as a term employee for 3-months. Due to multiple projects wrapping up, there is no permanent opportunity available; however, a strong performance could lead to a permanent role in Q3/Q4 2027, if the stars align on your career path.

Company & Project Details

This General Contractor has a strong history of successful projects in the Lower Mainland including Senior's Living, Commercial Office Towers, Commercial TIs, Community Centres and Ice Rinks. You will join an ongoing institutional project with a focus on finishing (similar to TI work). This is a great place to work with long tenured staff and the ability to work on diverse projects (if you eventually join full-time).

Key Duties

• Support the Site Superintendent in the delivery of an ongoing institutional project
• Focus on the Finishing stages of the current project (similar to TI work, but in an ongoing new build)
• Tackle deficiencies management, coordination and completion
• Lead finishing trades and in-house carpenters and labourers on your scopes

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Foreman/Forewoman on commercial TI or new build projects
• Motivated to own your scopes
• Strong communication skills
• Able to start on short notice

Compensation

• 3-month team based on a prorated salary of $95,000 - $115,000
• Vacation pay of 4%
