Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour, negotiable based on education and experience.

Environment: Pet (Large Doge) & non-smoking home.

Role Overview

Cardinal Nannies is seeking a dynamic and reliable full-time placement nanny for a family in Cobourg with 3 children, ages 6 months to 4 years old. We are looking for a caregiver who strikes the perfect balance between being creative, sporty, and playful, while also being able to set boundaries confidently.

Key Responsibilities

• Childcare & Engagement: Assist with feedings, naps, developmental play in a fund, safe and active environment.
• Household Support: Assist with planning and preparing meals for the child, light housekeeping, laundry and keeping items picked up after the child throughout the day as time permits. Both parents work from home.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years of childcare experience with excellent references
• Education: Minimum Secondary School graduation
• Security: A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is mandatory.
• Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle and willing to drive children to and from activities.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is reliable, punctual, organized, and takes direction well. We are looking for someone dependable who can exercise good judgment while engaging in creative play.
