The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who enjoys coordinating multiple projects, supporting field operations, and working closely with project teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will play a key role in procurement, project administration, subcontractor coordination, estimating support, logistics planning, cost tracking, and overall project execution.

This position offers exposure to all phases of project delivery and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within a fast-paced and expanding construction organization.

Location & Work Arrangement

Remote or hybrid based on location

Travel to project sites throughout Western Canada will be required as needed

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules to support project timelines

Track and manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders

Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to support successful project execution

Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring required documentation and contractual obligations are maintained

Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items

Conduct site visits and support field teams as required

Work with Accounting to process construction draws, invoices, and work-in-progress reporting

Assist with estimating, budgeting, tender preparation, and scope development

Support transportation and logistics planning for modular deliveries and project mobilizations

Identify project risks and assist with mitigation planning

Act as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Support project health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements

Track subcontractor and vendor performance to ensure quality and schedule expectations are met

Assist with project closeout activities, including final documentation, inspections, and contract completion

Qualifications

Required

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Construction Project Coordinator, Estimator, or in a related construction role

Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline

Legally authorized to work in Canada

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites

Preferred

Experience in modular construction or remote project environments

Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously

Familiarity with construction estimating, procurement, and project controls

Skills & Knowledge

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Experience with Buildertrend or similar project management software is considered an asset

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Understanding of construction contracts, subcontract agreements, and project documentation

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines

Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism
