Long Description
Assembler Position
Position Summary
Assemblers are responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-systems used in medical equipment while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components (doors, pumps, tanks, etc.)
- Follow production schedules and instructions
- Perform inspections using measuring tools
- Identify and report discrepancies or issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Manufacturing Operations Clerk Position
Position Summary
The Manufacturing Operations Clerk supports production operations to ensure efficient management of parts and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Prepare component kits for production using available inventory
- Identify missing items during inventory checks and picking
- Store materials in designated storage areas
- Prepare and distribute parts to production cells
- Ship service parts
- Occasionally load and unload delivery trucks
- Follow safety rules at all times
- Provide training through mentorship
- Participate in Kaizen and other continuous improvement projects
- Perform other related duties
Welder Position
Position Summary
The Welder reads and interprets blueprints and performs welding of stainless steel parts while actively contributing to process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and determine appropriate welding techniques
- Perform assemblies while maintaining surface integrity and quality
- Measure parts to ensure compliance
- Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing operations
- Occasionally perform orbital TIG welding
- Design and improve fixtures
- Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform various additional related tasks as required
Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, welding, or warehouse environments (an asset)
- Ability to use job-related tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and strong teamwork skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay: $19–$30 per hour (based on experience and position)
