STEAM ASSET SERVICES Inc. is currently looking to connect with 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice steamfitter or plumber.

Steam, condensate & process piping systems improvements
Steam system service, maintenance and repair
Focused on Food & beverage, Healthcare and Pharma industries
Initially a contract position with a flexible work schedule in the GTA
Potential for full-time position in coming months
Formal certified energy audit training provided
$35 /hour to start
Working knowledge of industrial steam systems
Steam Boiler, PRVs, control valves and condensate recovery systems
Strong communication and customer interaction skills
Clean, organized workmanship
Strong understanding of safe work practices
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Basic tools needed, larger tools provided
Most work is focused on testing steam system energy efficiency, some retrofit and maintenance projects involving replacement of steam traps, PRVs, control valves and smaller-diameter steam/process piping usually within active industrial facility. No large-scale new construction work or heavy lifting required.
Steam Asset Services is focused on responsive field execution of audits and energy related retrofits, supporting manufactures, engineers and energy consultants throughout Southern Ontario.
