Bus Driver

Position: Spare School Bus Drivers

Location: Edson, Lobstick, Grande Cache and Hinton Zones

Start Date: Immediately, or upon mutually agreeable start date. Training courses are offered each month for those who require it.

The competition will remain open throughout the 2026-2027 school calendar year.

SUMMARY

Safely transporting students to and from school, as a replacement for Permanent Full-Time School Bus Drivers. Spare Drivers are employed by the Division on a day to day basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
• Physical ability to perform required duties, and pass a functional assessment.

THE DIVISION

Grande Yellowhead Public School Division stretches from Jasper National Park, east to Evansburg, south of Cadomin, and northwest to Grande Cache. The jurisdiction includes 17 schools, 5 Learning Connection Centres, approximately 5000 students and 600 staff. The Division is governed by seven elected Trustees.
