As a key member of the Rural Network Operations Team, you will leverage your expertise in Cisco networking infrastructure to ensure seamless network operations. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, including Network services and other technical stakeholders to resolve complex networking wireless issues through a structured problem-solving approach. Participate in the implementation of new technologies, such as Cisco Networking, Fortinet Security, Citrix Load Balancers, Forescout NAC and Infoblox IP Address management. Travel to remote sites as needed to assist in the resolution of escalated issues or implement new technologies. Develop and maintain documentation for network configuration, procedures and network topologies. Stay current on the latest networking technologies and industry best practices.

As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.

Required Qualifications

Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of Cisco Network & VoIP technologies. Experience with wired and wireless protocols. Proficiency in network design and troubleshooting wireless networks. Three or more years' experience working in a large IT environment. Ability to sit working at a computer for extended periods, ability to stand, lift, climb ladders, bend, crawl in confined spaces, work in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments. Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Cisco switches, routers, and Wireless LAN Controllers, Cisco Prime Infrastructure and Cisco Catalyst Center. Familiarity with network management tools and techniques such as SolarWinds. Cisco CCNA and CCNP certifications are assets, experience in healthcare and understanding of patient care needs.
