Interior Designer or Design Technologist

Studio Ridge — Calgary, AB

Studio Ridge is a collaborative interior design studio specializing in elevated residential interiors, boutique hospitality environments, and mountain-inspired living.

We are seeking a technically strong, design-oriented professional with approximately 3–5 years of North American residential interior design experience to join our studio full-time, in-office.

The Role

This position combines:

• CAD-based technical drawing packages
• interior detailing and finish coordination
• FF&E support
• site coordination and installations
• collaboration with designers, consultants, contractors, and procurement teams

This role is best suited to someone who values professionalism, accountability, technical rigor, and disciplined execution as much as creative thinking.

Required Qualifications

• Strong current CAD proficiency (required)
• Residential interior design experience in North America
• Understanding of technical drawings and construction documentation
• Organized, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Ability to reliably travel to project sites and installations
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred

• SketchUp / rendering experience
• Adobe Creative Suite
• AI-assisted workflow familiarity
• Luxury residential or hospitality experience
