Please note: This position is a full-time, on-site role based in North Vancouver, requiring in-person attendance five days a week.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking an in‑office Culture & Talent Manager who is deeply people‑oriented while keeping the company’s needs at the forefront. You bring energy, clarity, and solutions and lead through influence. With a strong intuitive sense for what motivates individuals, you foster a culture of professionalism, velocity, and alignment. You support the team with empathy and high standards, motivate and develop others, and think creatively.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drive the successful identification, recruitment and integration of all hires.
  • Ensure that cultural values are reinforced in all employee communications and events.
  • Ensure that team members have the mindset and resources they need to be successful in delivering on the company's core values and mission.
  • Drive people initiatives and programs (e.g. Performance Reviews, Training & Development, Retention, Culture, etc.) that drive employee productivity, performance, and engagement.
  • Understanding strategic goals and aligning people practices with business objectives and core values.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the company leadership for all things people-related, including performance management, career paths, issue resolution, and leadership/skills development.

Not Accountable For

This role is not accountable for HR administration or office administration (but must work closely with these other roles as well as every other business function). It is focused on people effectiveness, therefore, not accountable for compliance, payroll, or other admin issues.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Willingness to work 5 days per week in the office.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or HR Management.
  • Experience in recruiting, people development, organizational development, and strategic workforce planning.
  • Proven success establishing strong relationships and working across all functions within the organization.
  • Proven experience in enabling a growing organization to scale its people-side.
  • Interpersonal/Communication Skills – ability to channel different points of view; able to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly; create team atmosphere with internal staff while achieving key objectives.
  • Skilled in developing, implementing and communicating strategic people initiatives for diverse functional areas, analyzing data, making sound recommendations and adopting effective courses of action.
