Good Shepherd School, located in Peace River, Alberta requires a Full Time, Maternelle T eacher for the 2026-2027 School year starting August 27, 2026 up to and including June 29, 2027, with the possibility of extension.

The successful candidate's primary responsibility would be Full-day French Immersion Kindergarten Homeroom, assignment may include other duties assigned in the K-6 environment dependent on the candidate's skill set.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in oral and written French and possess training, knowledge, and experience with literacy and numeracy. The successful candidate will be required to support students who have individualized program plans, enrichment, modifications, and/or accommodations to their learning.

The successful candidate must be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta. Knowledge and understanding of Inclusive Education, Indigenous Education, and educational technology proficiency would be considered assets.

The successful candidate must be willing to live in a rural community environment and be a team player, willing to collaborate, communicate and work together with fellow colleagues. Catholic and non-catholic applicants are welcome to apply.
