The Bilingual HR Manager (French/ English) is a strategic business partner responsible for leading human resources functions across multiple locations, with a focus on both English and French-speaking regions (primarily Ontario and Quebec).

What you should expect

  • Strategic Advising: Serve as a business partner to management staff on organizational effectiveness and talent management.
  • Employee Relations: Conduct investigations into discrimination or unfair employment practices and provide guidance on complex disciplinary matters.
  • Legal Compliance: Manage employment-related legal files and ensure HR policies align with provincial legislation across all locations.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the administration of annual salaried/hourly compensation reviews and benefit re-enrollment programs.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain employee data and generate management reports.
  • Talent Acquisition: Support the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

What you should bring

  • Language: Full professional fluency in English and French is mandatory for supporting diverse regional teams.
  • Experience: Prior experience in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner role, ideally within a electrical or industrial environment.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is typically required.
  • Certification: Professional designations such as CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader) are highly preferred
