ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Are you a recent graduate or early‑career professional looking to build a strong foundation in office administration? D.R. Coell & Associates, a long‑established real estate appraisal firm, is seeking a full‑time Administrative Assistant to join our supportive and professional team.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and eager to develop practical administrative skills in a collaborative office environment. You will train closely with our Office Manager and contribute to the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the office while gaining valuable exposure to professional services.
Position Details
Hours: Monday to Friday, full‑time (8:30am – 4:30pm)
Start date: Immediate
Location: In‑office, Victoria, BC
Wage: $23/hour, will increase to $24/hour upon successful probation period
Key Responsibilities
· Creating new files and managing file database online
· Answering and directing phone calls
· Responding to email inquiries and general correspondence
· Formatting documents in Microsoft Word
· Basic invoicing using QuickBooks
Qualifications and Skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong organizational and time‑management skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive, Sharepoint)
· A high level of maturity, reliability, and initiative
· Tech‑savvy, with familiarity or interest in using AI tools in a professional setting
This is an entry‑level position. Previous office experience is not required, as training will be provided. We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate professionalism, tech savviness, and a willingness to learn.
