Freelance Copywriter

SitePartners is a specialized marketing agency built for the industrial sector. We solve business problems, build brands, and drive growth for companies in construction, manufacturing, and resource industries. As a full-service marketing partner, we work closely with our clients to deliver strategic, high-impact work that moves organizations forward. We’re looking to collaborate with a Freelance Copywriter to support ongoing client work, with a strong focus on proposal writing, editing, and refinement, alongside broader marketing and content initiatives.

This is a freelance opportunity for a writer who can step in, understand a client’s business quickly, and produce clear, compelling, and polished content across a range of formats. A key part of this role will be supporting proposals and RFP responses, helping shape messaging, improve clarity, and elevate the overall quality of submissions. You’re someone who can take complex information and turn it into structured, persuasive content that is both easy to read and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing and delivering high-quality marketing and advertising copy across websites, digital ads, blogs, case studies, white papers, proposals, brochures, and social media
• Ensuring all copy aligns with each client’s brand voice and tone while adapting messaging for different audiences and platforms
• Writing and refining high-quality copy across proposals, RFP responses, and pitch materials
• Developing SEO-friendly content that performs well in search while remaining engaging and natural
• Crafting strong calls-to-action that drive engagement and conversions
• Editing and proofreading all copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
• Conducting research on audiences, industries, and competitors to inform messaging
• Collaborating with account managers and clients to understand goals and deliver tailored content
• Revising content based on feedback while maintaining brand integrity
• Managing multiple deliverables and deadlines efficiently

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in an agency or marketing environment
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Bilingual proficiency (English + French) is strongly preferred
