About the Toronto Rush

The Toronto Rush are one of the premier teams in the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA), known for delivering a high-energy, fan-first game day experience. We are looking to add a dynamic and engaging mascot performer to help elevate our in-game entertainment and connect with fans of all ages.

Position Overview

The Toronto Rush are seeking an energetic, outgoing individual to serve as the team’s mascot. This role is central to creating a fun, memorable atmosphere at home games.The ideal candidate is comfortable performing in front of crowds, improvising, and bringing a larger-than-life character to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform as the Toronto Rush mascot at all home games
• Engage with fans in the stands, on the concourse, and during in-game promotions
• Participate in on-field entertainment
• Collaborate with game day staff on timing, cues, and activations
• Represent the brand of the Toronto Rush

Qualifications

• Prior mascot, performance, or entertainment experience
• Comfortable performing in front of large crowds
• Ability to stay in character for extended periods
• Physically capable of performing in a mascot suit (heat, limited visibility, movement)
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Outgoing, enthusiastic personality with strong non-verbal communication skills

Additional Details

• Must be available for all Toronto Rush home games (evenings/weekends)
• Compensation based on experience (per game / per appearance)
