ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Retail Store Manager who will take full ownership of the day-to-day store experience — leading the team, driving performance, maintaining operational standards, and creating an exceptional customer experience.

This is not a traditional retail manager role.

While a large part of the role is retail leadership and sales performance, a strong portion of this position also involves operational thinking, problem solving, and helping build systems that can scale as DRMERS CLUB continues to grow into future locations (2nd one is already in the works!)

We’re looking for someone who naturally notices gaps, takes initiative without needing constant direction, and wants to help build something long-term — not just manage shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

STORE LEADERSHIP + TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Lead and coach the retail team through strong floor presence, accountability, and clear standards
  • Create a high-performance store culture centered around customer experience, energy, and teamwork
  • Run scheduling, team communication, weekly meetings, and day-to-day staff management
  • Ensure the store consistently operates at a high standard visually, operationally, and culturally

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE + SALES

  • Deliver a high-touch, brand-aligned customer experience
  • Drive sales performance through styling, product knowledge, and team coaching
  • Support growth in KPIs such as conversion, AOV, and units per transaction
  • Reinforce DRMERS CLUB’s brand storytelling and community-focused experience in-store

OPERATIONS + INVENTORY

  • Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, reporting, payroll coordination, and inventory organization
  • Maintain strong inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and inventory management
  • Coordinate weekly inventory-related runs (UPS returns, storage transfers, etc.)
  • Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and help improve internal systems as the business scales

BRAND + STORE PRESENTATION (in collaboration with HQ)

  • Maintain strong visual merchandising and overall store presentation
  • Collaborate with HQ on launches, activations, merchandising updates, and community events
  • Help ensure the retail space reflects the brand creatively and operationally at all times

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3–5+ years of retail leadership experience (fashion/streetwear preferred but not required)
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold standards and lead a team confidently
  • Operationally minded—organized, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing brand environment
  • Naturally takes initiative and follows through without needing constant oversight
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with Shopify and comfortable using spreadsheets/reporting tools
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (parking covered by company)

COMPENSATION + PERKS

  • Salary: $67,000–$80,000 CAD (based on experience)
  • Year End Performance bonus (contingent on store and operational performance)
